12/15/2020 · I have a clear cut favorite. My Martin D-28 1941 Authentic and right with it my Martin D-18 1939 Authentic . It seems there is a Marquis Brand at least for my taste anyway. The 1939 Authentic is my easiest playing guitar. I have had six trigger finger surgeries and scar tissue tends to dampen strings. The D-18 1939 has a very forgiving neck.
