I have a GA-AX370-Gaming 3 motherboard. I thought that the EC FW Update Tool worked before upgrading my bios but I later found out it didn’t. As last hope, I went and ran it after upgrading to F40. It was on a black screen but removing the CMOS battery let me boot. I’m on F50a now. One of the files in the folder said PASS.
7/6/2015 · Exactly same here, have X370 and F31 Bios and 4 dimms. Used the fucking EC FW update tool and screen went blank and wont boot again. With other bios it boots but…what to do the get Ryzen 3000 working with 4 dimms. Gigabyte, fix this and Ill continue to be your client in the future, othewise not.
5/28/2019 · never had any of this problems BEFORE using EC FW TOOL UTILITY. EDIT : just a note, F8 bios gives me ’24’ Debug LED Code after a successful boot (it was always like that). F41a gives me ‘AA’. Just did another test with Linux, Fresh Windows install, fresh drivers, F8 Bios and F41a Bios.
