6/5/2015 · I am on the way to clocking up 2000 miles on my new Octavia 1.4 TSI DSG and also find that road noise is a bit of an issue. It obviously depends on the road surface, the tyre and the speed. I don’t expect to have a tyre change anytime soon but would certainly be interested to know if a particular tyre type is a better bet.

6/5/2015 · I am keen on the VRS because it has the Golf GTI motor and doesn’t look too bad at all !! My biggest concerns is the tyre noise on 19 inch wheels & the lack of any decent noise from the petrol engine. Out of interest, the Skoda VRS is now the longest wait listed car in Australia. So you can get your latest BMW faster than this high demand Skoda !!
